Rajouri: 23 Jul 2025 : A team of advocates from Armed Forces Tribunal Chandigarh, Armed Forces Tribunal Jammu, Punjab and Haryana High Court visited Zila Sainik Welfare Office, Rajouri today. The team was headed by advocate Ravi Dutt Badiyal, advocate Sanjog Khatri and advocate Chakshu Sharma.
Large number of ex-servicemen, widows and their dependents attended the meeting. A variety of subjects ranging from disability element of pension, DSC pension, anomaly in One Rank One Pension, division & fixation of family pension, notional increment of pension, entitlement matters etc were discussed.
Col Jaweed Ahmad Mir, Sena Medal lauded the role played by the Armed Forces Tribunal in adjudicating disputes and complaints related to the Armed Forces personnel.
Col Jaweed called upon the ex-servicemen and their dependents to seek clarification and explore solutions to their long pending legal issues.The visiting team of advocates appreciated the efforts of Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Colonel Jaweed Mir for taking a lead in his outreach efforts to address the grievances of the ex-servicemen and their dependents.
