Tensions flared in Doda after an FIR was filed against Hon’ble MLA Mehraj Malik by Dr. Madhu Chib, Associate Professor at Government Medical College (GMC) Doda. The FIR, numbered 0130, was registered at Police Station Doda on May 29, 2025, at 4 PM under Sections 356(2), 79, and 351(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
