Srinagar, Aug 3: The Chinar Corps of the Army Saturday expressed sorrow over the death of Havildar Satye Singh, who died while on operational duties in a forward area along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Kupwara sector.
The Chinar Corps extended their condolences to the bereaved family, emphasising the Army’s solidarity and commitment to supporting them during this difficult time.
“In this hour of grief, the Indian Army stands in solidarity with the bereaved family and is committed in their support,” the Chinar Corps said.Havildar Satye Singh was performing his duties in the Kupwara sector, an area known for its challenging and often perilous conditions. The circumstances leading to his death have not been disclosed, but the loss has resonated deeply within the Army community and beyond.
The Kupwara sector, located along the LoC, has been a hotspot for military operations due to its strategic importance and proximity to the border.
