AIIMS Raebareli, Sevadan Arogya Exchange MoU To Strengthen Patient Care And Support Services Together

Raebareli , 30 July : AIIMS Raebareli and Sevadan Arogya Sanstha exchanged a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday to improve facilities for patients and their attendants.

Executive Director Professor Dr Amita Jain presided over the ceremony.

The agreement marks a significant step towards enhancing patient welfare and strengthening support services within the institute.

Under the partnership, Sevadan Arogya Sanstha will construct a night shelter inside the AIIMS Raebareli campus.

The facility will provide safe, clean and dignified accommodation for attendants accompanying patients from distant locations.

Deputy Director Colonel Akhilesh Singh signed the MoU on behalf of AIIMS Raebareli. Amit Das signed the agreement for Sevadan Arogya Sanstha.

Both representatives formally exchanged the signed documents during the programme.

Financial Advisor Colonel Upendra Nath Rai, Superintending Engineer Harish Yadav and several senior institute officials attended the event.

Representatives of Sevadan Arogya Sanstha also participated in the ceremony. Both organisations reaffirmed their commitment to working together for the welfare of patients and their attendants.

They pledged to make healthcare services more compassionate, accessible and people-centric.

Addressing the gathering, Professor Dr Amita Jain said dignified accommodation for attendants forms an essential part of humane healthcare.

She described the initiative as a meaningful effort to improve the overall treatment experience for families.

The project reflects a strong commitment to social responsibility and public service. Once completed, the night shelter will benefit thousands of patients and attendants visiting AIIMS Raebareli.

It will offer secure and comfortable accommodation throughout the treatment period. The initiative is expected to reduce hardship for families travelling from far-off areas and strengthen the institute’s patient-centric healthcare ecosystem.
