BRICS Summit: Delhi Metro Museum To Remain Closed From September 11 To 13

Delhi , 10 Sep : The Delhi Metro Museum at Supreme Court Metro Station will remain shut for three days as authorities implement special security and traffic arrangements for the BRICS Summit in the national capital.

The museum will be closed from September 11 to 13 and will reopen on September 15, as September 14 is its regular weekly holiday.

The Delhi Traffic Police has also announced changes to court schedules in areas affected by the summit arrangements.

The National Lok Adalat scheduled for September 12 will take place on October 10. Courts will hear cases listed for September 11 and 12 on September 14, as they will remain closed on those dates.

Authorities have advised litigants to confirm revised dates before travelling to avoid unnecessary journeys to areas facing security and traffic restrictions.

The BRICS Summit will take place in Delhi from September 12 to 13, prompting extensive traffic arrangements for the movement of visiting delegations and high-security motorcades.

Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Dinesh Kumar Gupta said Delhi Traffic Police has established 22 diversion points. Personnel have also received briefings to assist commuters and guide them along alternative routes.

Schools and government offices will remain closed on September 11, which the traffic police expect will help ease pressure on roads.

The police have urged residents, commuters and cab operators to check official traffic advisories before travelling through affected routes during the summit.
