JAMMU, Jun 16: The Central Government has revised the posting of 2012-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer Himanshu Gupta, transferring him to Ladakh shortly after assigning him to the Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Gupta had recently been repatriated to his parent cadre following the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
After his return from central deputation earlier this month, the Ministry of Home Affairs had initially posted him to the island Union Territory.
However, a fresh order has now placed him in Ladakh.
An IIT Delhi alumnus, Gupta has served in various administrative positions across Arunachal Pradesh, Delhi and the Central Government during his career.
