
JAMMU, Mar 30: The High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has constituted a committee of three judges to examine and recommend steps for implementation of the Shetty Commission recommendations.
The decision followed directions issued by the Supreme Court of India in its order dated March 18, 2026, in a related matter.
As per an order issued by the Registrar General, the committee comprises Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sanjay Dhar and Justice Shahzad Azeem.
The panel has been tasked with suggesting ways to take up the issue with the UT Governments of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh to ensure effective implementation of the recommendations.
